Barmaz or Barme means “the shelter” in Patois (swiss local language). Our natural shelter here it is this beautiful cliff that sits on the side of the plateau. It is fully equipped and accessible for free.
The climbing rock (80m high), is divided into 5 different sectors:
- The Dents Blanches sector (level 3+ to 5-): 10 routes for beginners.
- The Belle Montagne and Les Dalles sectors (level 4+ to 6b): 22 routes for more experienced climbers.
- Les Deverts and Le Chat sectors (level 4+ to 7b): 15 routes for experienced alpinists.
Accompanied discoveries are organized in collaboration with the mountain guides of
Champery.
